Protest at Sandy Levin’s Office: Pink Slip Sandy Saturday

Two dozen volunteers descended on Warren neighborhoods north of I-696 today to deliver more than 3,000 pink slips to residents.  The purpose?  To drive home the point that more than 26,000 jobs have been lost since 2000, and that 26 years of Sandy Levin is long enough for Michigan’s 12th Congressional District.

After canvassing the neighborhoods, the volunteers moved to Sander Levin’s Congressional office near I-696 and Gratiot in Roseville to protest the incumbant.

“We had a lot of fun today,” said Bert Copple, the District’s Republican nominee.  “Hearing folks honk for change and supporting our desires to pink slip Sandy Levin is what this is all about.  Not to mention that we easily exposed a few thousand people to our message today, right in front of his office.”

Two more protests are scheduled, but dates and times are not being released.

“There is still something to be said for the element of surprise,” added Copple.

  1. Thank you for educating the voters and letting them know exactly what Sandy’s voting record has been about. What has he really done in 26 years? Not much, after that much time he should have a long list of accomplishments and a proven track record of fighting for his constituents, he doesn’t. Instead he has voted the party line over the will of the voters and the best interest of Michiganders. His recent votes for amnesty and against the English language are proof enough that he is not representing the best interests of Americans.
I wish I could have been there to join in, unfortunately I am working out of state thanks to nafta and our inept leaders that do nothing to protect our jobs or our citizens. Ihave to work out of state thanks to our politicians, the very same ones that voted for amnesty and to allow illegal aliens granted amnesty the right to bring in their extended families so that their families won’t be torn apart. While they are busy looking out for illegal alien families I am separated from mine just to have a decent job. Well Sandy should have been looking out for Americans first, as far as I am concerned let the illegal aliens put him in office if thats who he wants to represent. His brother can take a hike too, I hope both brothers lose the positions they assume are safe, I know far more people who will vote against them than for them!!!
